SUPPER CLUB 3 - HOLAN Collective
HOLAN - St Ives, what a location. Such a magical, calm space overlooking Porthmeor Beach. Many historic coastal events have happened there, from fishermen to artists, you can feel it in the walls.
You’ve heard me talking about the HOLAN Collective space before, but wow what a meal this one was! Our one woman chef Becky produced the most amazing array of freshly sourced local goods, she even hand-baked the naans! The flavours and toppings were just sublime, and to top it all off, peaches, cream and homemade crumble complete with rose petals and corn flowers.
Thankyou to everyone who attended - the drawing games filled the room with warm laughter, which was such a lovely sight to feel and see.
I am so grateful to all of those who have been so helpful in making this event extra magic. The HOLAN dream team - Harri from Marazul Clothing, Warbey and Nick Pumphrey, bar men and photography legends. Hannah for her beautiful homegrown flowers and Lawrence for providing all the ceramic plates, which were available to purchase on the night. Chef Becky with help from Jonah, Louise for her magic copywriting and Jayce for providing chairs and tables to locate all your bottoms.
I am so pleased we made this happen at HOLAN. It has become a very special place for us all and brings a real community-focused, fullhearted spirit to those who step foot in it!
DARN SUPPER CLUB will take a pause for October, look out for details of our next event in November which will be extra cosy.
For those who attended DARN Supper Club 3 - please share your feedback from the night, we’d love to hear it!Lawrence
