DARN x Hana Sunny Whaler

Bringing her own magic to the DARN collective, I am excited to present the DARN x Hana Whaler trade collaboration!

Created in her vibrant South East London studio, Hana has hand-painted a set of custom designs using her keen eye for colour, love of boisterous lettering and a very steady-hand. As a fellow Falmouth University graduate, I first crossed paths with Hana in Cornwall and have watched her bloom as a traditional sign painter and illustrator ever since. Previously based in Bristol before making the move to London, Hana is taking the city by storm using traditional techniques and tricks of the trade that have been passed down the generations to brighten up every wall, window or even canal boat she is commissioned to get her hands on.

In exchange for her own Violeta scarf, the two final pieces of art incorporate Darn’s ethos of creating meticulous products for life and playfully celebrate a love for timeless design shared by us both. Thankyou Hana!
