Our 'Time To Play' Silk Scarves: Games In Silky Form
'Time To Play'
My new designs are now on sale, go take a look!
Get ready to ‘checkmate’ in silky form with Dan’s Chess Board made using 100% silk twill.
Chess not your cup of tea?... not to worry, we also have designed Backgammon set named Quillie.
Dan's Chess Board:
Originally hand-drawn onto paper using a selection of blue and green tone crayons and oil pastels, with a burst of daffodil yellow and a pop of blush pink for the border, the artwork of Dan’s Chess Board presents a more playful take on a classic chess board design. The choice is yours how you wear this lightweight scarf, which we love as a neckerchief or hair accessory, but no matter what adornment you choose, you will also be ready to play chess at a moment's notice!
If you have been lucky enough to have joined us at a DARN Supper Club recently you will already know chef Dan and have tasted some of his delicious dishes. This scarf has been named in his honour and was designed between friends Amelia (age 30), Queenie (age 11), Jarvis (age 9) and Arty (age 6) in Cornwall. Often finding ourselves at the beach or playing in the nearby fields where the colours that have inspired this particular design can be found, we thought it would be a nice idea to create a playful scarf design that makes it easy for friends to gather and play games together.
Quillie’s Backgammon Set:
Named after Quillie (one of DARN’S muses who you may have spotted on a horse in our photo campaigns) who is a big fan of backgammon and always loves an excuse to play over a pint or two, this set includes a wearable silk scarf design with a twist.
Printed in the UK with customised backgammon triangle point artwork in tones of royal blue, black and blush pink with a pop of citrus yellow on the border, this scarf is suitable for wear as a neckerchief and in your hair, or can be rolled out whenever you fancy a game!
