Handmade screen-printed cotton scarves crafted in our Cornwall studio by the founder and Ellie Kramer.

The beauty of these hand screen prints is that they are more like hand-printed artworks. No two are the same—each print varies, with some featuring more or less blue tones. Some are more faded, while others shine brightly. This is the charm of a handmade item; it offers a uniqueness that cannot be replicated in mass-produced products.

Introducing DARN’s debut cotton blue scarf series: The Ariane. Staying true to our original design, this series is presented in a range of shades of blue.

It draws inspiration from a myriad of sources, including jockey uniforms, heritage gardens, and native and European folklore. The tulip motifs are freshly sketched from Sussex’s renowned garden, Great Dixter, and are beautifully printed using hues of tomato red and misty pink.

Appealing to those with a shared love for elegance without being overly refined, and playfulness without frivolity, each 100% silk twill scarf is thoughtfully designed and handmade in London. Limited quantities are available for each selected design.
